This Not That: Rare Beauty Luminous Blush

I know the Sephora sale is happening right now with a lot of promotions going on. Honestly, I’m not here to give you a list of picks. There are plenty of great accounts already doing that. I’m here to help you spend your money more wisely! 💸💸💸

Now that I’ve stepped off my soapbox, I do want to share an important PSA. I’ve seen influencers pushing these Rare Beauty blushes, and I can’t support it. I had this blush for maybe six days before it completely crumbled into tiny pieces. It wasn’t dropped by my child or anything; I just opened my makeup case, and blush was everywhere for no reason.

I saw @tatlafata mention that this blush makes you look like a disco ball, and I couldn’t agree more with this sentiment. While I love a dewy look, this was too much for me and my texture. Only purchase if you have literally flawless skin because otherwise, it’s not very flattering.

My recommendation, which isn’t related to the Sephora sale, is the Milani Baked Blush. I think I have three of them now, and they last so long. There’s minimal fallout, which is another great perk, and I love so many of their colors. Honestly, there’s no reason to spend a lot on blushes while Milani is around.
