This Not That: lululemon Wunder Train Shorts

As a proud Nashvillian (though not originally from here, I’ve called it home for over a decade), I wanted to sprinkle in some of my favorite local recommendations. Supporting small businesses is more important than ever!
As I’ve mentioned, I’m a very active mom who does strength training four times a week. Because of that, my thighs and booty tend to devour shorts like they’re on sale. The only ones I’ve found that don’t do this are the Lululemon Wunder Train shorts, but like all Lululemon products, they’re extremely overpriced. I also need a high waist that stays in place, which is why I have issues with the Athletica high-rise shorts—they tend to roll down during workouts. I’ve tried every dupe on Amazon, and unfortunately, not even Crazy Yoga had a pair that wouldn’t roll up.
I recently discovered this brand (a friend of mine models for them on their website!) and I’ve already placed more orders. These shorts are the first ones that 1) don’t ride up during workouts and 2) have a waist that stays in place without rolling down. It seems like a rare combination, but this local Nashville company has managed to nail it. They also come in vibrant, sweat proof colors which we all love.
As the weather changes and hot girl walks start up again, I highly recommend snagging a pair or two. For reference, I’m 5’6” and am a size medium in these shorts. I purchased the 6” shorts.
