As I've mentioned before, I'm a proud corporate enthusiast and have spent the last decade working with Fortune 500 brands. While Corporate America certainly has its challenges, I thrive in that structured environment. When I received my first significant promotion, I decided to treat myself and splurged on a Louis Vuitton tote for the office. Looking back, I can truly say that was a mistake! 😅
The most glaring issue with that tote? The open top! I can’t even count how many times I’ve set it down, only for it to topple over, sending my essentials flying across the floor. I tried a cheap Amazon insert to help with organization, but the tote's design just isn’t suitable for my ancient laptop and all the other odds and ends I need for a day in the office. The shape is simply impractical. Plus, those thin straps dug into my shoulders, causing discomfort even on lighter days. And they constantly slip off my shoulders.
Now, I’m on my second Rebecca Minkoff tote (my first one served me well for six years!), and I genuinely believe they are the best option for an office bag. The pebbled leather looks sophisticated and does an excellent job of hiding scuffs and scratches. Even when I load it to the brim, it remains comfortable on my shoulders. I did experiment with an insert for organization, but honestly, I prefer the open space inside the bag. It allows me to easily grab what I need without fumbling around!
If you’re in the market for a practical yet stylish office bag, I highly recommend giving Rebecca Minkoff a try! I reach for it over my Neverfull every time.
