Back with another user request! Someone asked me to find an alternative for the IT Cosmetics CC Cream. I apologize for the delay—it took me QUITE some time to try out the original product and then even longer to find a good alternative. But here we are, and I’m thrilled to share what I’ve learned over the past two months! Also side note— I’m working on the other requests but I just really like taking my time before I review so hopefully y’all understand 😅
The IT Cosmetics CC Cream is a cult classic for a reason—it’s obvious to me why it works well for a variety of complexions. Personally, I don’t prefer full coverage, but I get it. The biggest issue for me though is the texture; it feels like I’m applying a heavy cream on my face that just sits there. Maybe I have weird sensory issues or something but I really couldn’t stand the heaviness all day on my face.
I tried the e.l.f. Camo Cream, which is often considered a dupe, but I found the formulation to be quite different. Additionally, I struggled to find the right shade as they all seemed too warm for my complexion. The Wet N’ Wild Hydrating Tint was another suggested “dupe” but I just didn’t find that to be the case.
Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream feels very similar to the CC Cream in terms of thickness, but it doesn’t heavily sit on my face. A little truly goes a long way. It has a slight glow to it unlike the CC cream which is just MATTE. I use the light beige color, and it provides long-lasting, natural-looking coverage. People have loved this product for a decade, and I completely understand why. Kbeauty with another win!
