I know this topic has been thoroughly discussed online, but I feel compelled to share my thoughts, especially since I haven’t seen anyone with super dry skin like mine weigh in on it.
When it really comes down to it, the Halo has better coverage compared to Charlotte Tilbury’s offering, which feels more like a tinted primer—an expensive one at that. If you’re in the market for a primer, I’d recommend checking out the Lumi Glow-Drops I mentioned in a previous post; they’re a great alternative.
Additionally, I found that the Elf product gives a more natural glow, while the CT tends to have a glittery finish, which was a significant issue for my dry skin. The glitter in the CT formula actually clung to my dry patches, making them even more noticeable. It’s frustrating when a product highlights imperfections instead of smoothing them out! In contrast, the Elf is thicker and provides a blurring effect on those dry areas, making it a clear winner for me.
Overall, if you have dry skin like mine, I’d suggest opting for the Elf for a more flattering finish.
